2026 Outreach Performance Info

Monkey See, Monkey Do (by Robert Xavier Rodriguez) is a charming children’s opera based on a Mexican folk tale. A sombrero seller’s hats are stolen by monkeys, leading him to cleverly trick the monkeys into returning them. At the same time, he is trying to win the heart of his beloved Maria. This opera is sung in both Spanish and English and fun for the whole family.

For 76 years Opera In The Ozarks has been a premiere opera training program, located in Eureka Springs Arkansas. Each summer, artists from all over the world come to Northwest Arkansas to train with top opera professionals, and perform three, main-stage operas in our beautiful theater. But along with those performances, we also take an opera into our community to perform for families in the hope of spreading awareness and love for the art of opera.
